Judith Winterbottom

Woodwind

Judith is a woodwind player and tutor from Gravesend, Kent. She graduated with a first in Music from the University of Chichester before moving to Cardiff, where she studied at RWCMD and gained her Masters in Music Performance.

Judith plays clarinet, flute and saxophone for musical theatre groups across South Wales, including past performances with the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra and Monmouth Music Theatre group. She works as a peripatetic teacher in schools in North Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, as well as tutoring for the CCVG Transitional Orchestra and High School Orchestra.

Judith is keen to engage children and adults in music-making and ensembles, and enjoys creating personal schemes of work, tailored to match the interests and abilities of each student, covering pop, jazz, klezmer and musical theatre styles.
